Bell's Palsy

My person experience was astonishing. Susan made me feel very comfortable in her clinic. (I have to emphasize that in the first appointment I felt quite nervous and insecure.) Her confidence showed me that this lady knows what she is doing so I felt safe around her presence.

Four days before I delivered my baby boy I had Bell's Palsy which is a partial paralysis of the face. This syndrome affected me not only physically on one side of my face but also emotionally. I did not need such trauma in my life in a very crucial moment like I was.

My husband immediately started searching through the internet for the best medical solution possible. Among all the other western and eastern medicine, in the description of her professional background Susan seemed to be the most convincible.

And so it was. As soon as she saw my condition she assured me that she was going to get my face back to normal. She advised me to have an intensive therapy of acupuncture of at least 10 sessions in order to prevent the advancement of the syndrome. I did follow her sessions every day like she suggested me and I could see the results from the very first session. I got impressed with her work. Now I have finished my sessions and I am very satisfied with the results. Finally my face got back to normal.

Tennis Elbow

I’ve been suffering from tennis & golfer’s elbow syndrome for almost a year. I had a cortisone injection once but it made it worst after, so I tried acupuncture as an option since I’ve learned it from Alternative Medicine course. At first, I’m hesitant and scared but as soon as my first treatment the inflammation had subside and improved my elbow’s range of motion. Dr. Susan Hu is very accommodating and sympathetic about my condition. In 10 sessions of treatments her expertise and skills help me a lot to use my elbow and move it without limitations. In addition to this, she also treated my migraine, which occurs frequently and very intense. After those treatments, I had occasional headaches but tolerable. I’m very grateful with Dr. Hu for treating my issues for it improves my health and well-being.

Fertility

After a miscarriage, trying to conceive for about 2 years, and going to see a fertility specialist (where I underwent a number of painful medical tests and unsuccessful fertility drug treatments, only to have the same result and worse--now migraines were also part of my pain) I decided to try something else.
I had heard positive things about traditional Chinese medicine and that it had helped many women with fertility issues.  I first met Dr. Hu almost a year ago now, and had made the decision to try acupuncture treatments with her to see if they would help with those terrible migraine headaches as well as the fertility issues I was having.
From the first time Dr. Hu and I met, she was very professional, knowledgeable and skilled in her practice, and always answered every one of my questions very clearly and thoroughly.  After only a few sessions I was already feeling much better and no longer had migraine headaches and my menstrual periods were more “regular” than they had ever been before.

I’m happy to say that 5 months into my treatments I became pregnant and am now in my 30th week of pregnancy!!  I highly recommend and encourage others who may be facing fertility issues to try acupuncture treatments with Dr. Susan Hu.

Eye Inflamation

I came to the clinic with a very bad swollen and very painful reddened left eye, I had gone to a walk in clinic on July 14 and was prescribed an antibiotic eye drops. I tried them for two days and had no improvements in the eye. I made the decision to go for acupuncture as I had good results with it before. I saw Dr. Hu and after 3 days of treatments my eye greatly improved. The right eye had also became reddened, but with the treatment it to became better.

I might add that I also was given eye drops and herbal pills to take, which helped me a lot. I am going to continue wit acupuncture for my migraine which I have had since age 14. I know there is no cure for migraine, however, Dr. Hu assure me they will become less severe and less frequent. I have tried allopathic medicine, but it did not help in the past.

I am very grateful to Dr. Hu and her skill as a Dr. I want to recommend acupuncture to anyone with a chronic condition or an acute which I had with my eye.
